06 days lodge Safari Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1 Arrival Arusha

You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by your guide and our representative. From there, we will take you to the hotel in Arusha for safari briefing and accommodation at Lake Duluti Lodge.Or similar. Dinner included.

Day 2 Arusha – Lake Manyara

In the morning after breakfast you’ll drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. This beautiful park with it’s lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, takes its name from the Maasai word for "euphorbia tirucalli", a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippo’s. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an "Acacia tortilis" tree. The birdlife is also abundant with flamingos, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species.

Day 3 Lake Manyara - Serengeti

After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive.

Day 4 Serengeti

You will have breakfast at the Lodge before we embark on an early morning game drive in the park. Depending on the season you may see this impressive phenomena. Naturally it also attracts a mass of predators and you may be able to see a band of lionesses gather for a hunt. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge at Central Serengeti. All meals included

Day 5 Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light In the morning. After breakfast continue game driving on your way to Naabi Hill Gate and towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Then you will descend into Crater for a wonderful game drive with picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge at Ngorongoro. All meals included.

Day 6 Ngorongoro – Arusha

Breakfast at the lodge. Afterwards you return to Arusha. Reach to Arusha in the afternoon and transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home. Breakfast and lunchbox included
